My Story

I've always believed that every woman deserves a wig that fits her — not just her head, but her lifestyle, her vibe, her confidence. What started as a passion for hair and a desire to help women feel their absolute best has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of: a community of WBT girlies who show up for themselves every single day.

I'm Tayah Hargraves, a 28-year-old custom wig maker based in Dallas, TX. I started WigsByTay because I was tired of seeing women struggle with wigs that didn't fit right, looked unnatural, or required glue and hours of effort just to wear. I knew there had to be a better way — and I built it.

2. Measurements — I take your exact head measurements so your wig fits like it was made for you. (Because it was! 😄)
3. Construction — I hand-craft your wig using premium hair and high-quality materials, paying close attention to every detail.
4. Customization — This is where the magic happens. I customize your hairline, bleach the knots, and add all the finishing touches that make your wig look completely natural and uniquely yours.
